Pt1: Old Stuff

It’s official, I’ve lost my photo library, AND 2 chapters for my novel. I am so pissed off at Mozy right now, it decided to backup NONE of my .doc files when I explicitly had it include them all. I hate Mozy so much now that I refuse to link to in to avoid anyone downloading that load of shit.

Pt. II: Revenge of the Mouldy Cheese

Extrems, out of incredible boredom, created my anti-blog. In summary, it’s a copy+paste of my blog, but he rewords some parts to make them funny.

Due to the fail mentioned in the previous post, I have lost all my photos. Don’t expect a very active photoblog since I now have no archive to go through. On the + side, I’m now running Windows 7 RC as my one and only OS on my laptop, it has the whole drive available. Removing the dualboot to Vista is what lead to everything breaking in the first place. Thank god I had an older backup made by Windows. However, I will NEVER forgive Microsoft for the shitty backup software. Within my folder selections it SELECTIVELY backed up my files. It didn’t get my no-install app collection because they were executables. It didn’t get my photos because they were archived in a RAR to save space. I even told the software to include EVERYTHING when I made the backup. Sigh, maybe some people I know have some of my pics…

That’s the sound of fail. sudo rm -r to be exact. Today I accidentially deleted almost all of my personal files. Blog be dead till I’m back up and running.
