While I didn't know her personally, today is the birthday of a girl that goes to my school, whom I passed in the hall every day, whose face I knew, someone that was always smiling and cheerful. She passed last month. R.I.P. Bri, you will be missed.

I have uploaded the short, Passwords and Counter Signs, to the blog. It comes in now as chapter 11, and tells the tale of a Jekotian spy within an Imperial intelligence agency.

IRL

I moved over the weekend, from an apartment to a house. Not fun. But I have a nice room. But I have no internet or TV at home D: Those might take a while to get the cable lines installed :( Old house is old.

My novel is coming along steadily. There has been nothing new because I have gone back to update everything for story consistency after some changes. I will post my first short, Passwords and Countersigns, in the coming week, as well as a humorous Zero Punctuation style essay I wrote last spring.

School

I’m helping head up this years Haunted House at BCHS. The ideas are pretty damn good for once, instead of previous years generic crap. The main issue is motivating the grade 11 portion of the class. They are lazy. Whips and tazers may come into play.

Also, today, I discovered the true idiocy of one of my classmates. Last week, I spent roughly 10 hours working on a laptop to prepare the HDD for cloning. Today, he dropped the finished drive. It’s dead. I have to start over, and now we’re down a drive. For his own safety he is banned from handling ‘master’ drives. Next time he does this I will hurt him. With a cheese grater.

Life

I’m moving soon. To be precise, on October the 17th. And I’ll live closer to the chick I like and that likes me back \o/
